Role description Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Apps DBA with strong experience in Oracle EBusiness Suite EBS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure OCI The candidate will be responsible for managing missioncritical EBS environments driving cloud transformation initiatives and ensuring system stability performance and security across enterprise landscapes

Key Responsibilities

Manage and administer Oracle EBusiness Suite R122 environments ensuring high availability and performance

Perform database administration activities including installation upgrades patching cloning and migrations

Execute EBS application and database tier administration including AutoConfig ADTXK patching and ADOP online patching

Design and manage OCIbased infrastructure Compute Storage Networking IAM Monitoring

Lead EBS migration and cloud transformation projects to OCI

Monitor system health and proactively troubleshoot application database and infrastructure issues

Implement and manage backup recovery disaster recovery DR and business continuity solutions

Configure and support highavailability architectures Data Guard load balancing

Automate routine tasks using Shell scripting SQL and PLSQL to improve efficiency

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure system reliability and optimize performance

Enforce security compliance and audit controls across EBS and OCI environments

Maintain detailed technical documentation SOPs and operational procedures

Required Skills Qualifications

812 years of experience as an Oracle Apps DBA in enterprise environments

Strong experience with Oracle EBS R121R122 administration

Expertise in Oracle Database 11g12c19c or higher

Experience in EBS cloning patching and online patching ADOP

Handson experience with OCI services including

oCompute Storage

oNetworking VCN Load Balancers

oIdentity Access Management IAM

oMonitoring Logging

oBackup Disaster Recovery

Proven experience with EBS migration to OCI

Strong knowledge of RMAN Data Guard and performance tuning

Solid understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in OCI migration or cloud modernization programs

Knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud OIC and platform services

Experience with WebLogic administration

Oracle certifications OCI Database EBS

Desired Candidate Profile

Strong experience managing largescale production environments

Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills

Experience in both production support and project delivery environments

Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have

Experience with automation tools Ansible Terraform OCI Resource Manager

Exposure to DevOps and InfrastructureasCode practices
