Location: Greater Vancouver Area (On-Site)

Position Summary

We are partnering with a growing, values-driven hospitality organization with a strong reputation for delivering exceptional guest experiences across multiple locations. As a key member of the leadership team, the successful candidate will provide financial stewardship, strategic insight, and operational leadership across the organization. This role offers the opportunity to influence business performance, support growth initiatives, strengthen organizational capabilities, and help drive a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Executive Leadership & Business Strategy

Contribute as a strategic partner to the executive team, helping shape organizational priorities and long-term business objectives. Provide financial and operational insights that support informed decision-making and sustainable growth. Evaluate business opportunities, investments, and strategic initiatives, offering recommendations that balance risk and reward. Participate in organizational planning, forecasting, and performance management activities.

Financial Stewardship

Ensure the overall financial health of the organization through effective oversight of accounting, reporting, treasury, taxation, and financial controls. Deliver accurate, timely, and meaningful financial information that supports both operational and strategic decision-making. Champion financial discipline and accountability across the business. Lead the organization's external audit process and maintain strong relationships with financial partners and advisors.

Operational Excellence & Transformation

Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, reporting capabilities, and organizational efficiency. Support leaders across the organization in understanding financial performance and achieving business objectives. Leverage technology, data, and analytics to enhance decision-making and drive continuous improvement. Help build scalable financial practices that support future growth.

People Leadership & Organizational Impact

Lead and develop a high-performing finance team while fostering a culture of engagement, collaboration, and accountability. Coach and mentor team members, creating opportunities for growth and professional development. Build strong partnerships throughout the organization and promote financial literacy among non-financial leaders. Serve as a trusted advisor and influential leader who contributes positively to organizational culture and success.

Governance, Compliance & Risk

Ensure appropriate governance practices, financial policies, and internal controls are maintained. Monitor and mitigate financial and operational risks while supporting organizational objectives. Maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and corporate policies. Support executive leadership in managing risk and strengthening organizational resilience.

Qualifications

Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation required. Minimum 10 years of progressive finance leadership experience in complex organizations. Demonstrated success leading teams and overseeing broad financial operations. Strong knowledge of accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal control frameworks. Proven ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution. Experience influencing senior stakeholders and leading organizational change. Excellent analytical, communication, and business partnering skills. Experience with ERP systems, financial technologies, and data-driven decision-making. High integrity, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to leadership. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

COMPENSATION

$170,000.000 - $225,000.00 annually & 25% bonus. Compensation offered within this range is based on factors unique to each candidate, including skills, qualifications, experience and credentials.
