ABOUT THE TEAM
The Enterprise and Non-Investment Risk team plays a central role in safeguarding PSP Investments’ strategic and operational integrity. We are a cross-functional group responsible for the governance, oversight, and continuous enhancement of the organization’s risk management framework and practices. Our work spans investment and non-investment risk domains, integrating risk awareness into all levels of the business.
We lead the development and implementation of PSP’s Risk Appetite Statement (RAS), Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), ensuring that risk ownership is embedded across departments. Our team supports the Executive Committee and Board of Directors by delivering timely, data-driven insights on emerging risks, operational losses, and compliance breaches.
ABOUT YOUR ROLE
As an Analyst, Enterprise and Non-Investment Risk, you’ll:
- Assist in identifying and documenting operational and enterprise risks across business units and externally
- Support the development and maintenance of risk registers and related reporting tools and formats
- Gather data and perform basic analysis to monitor risks to the organization and key risk indicators
- Contribute to risk assessments as outlined in policies and procedures, and as needed based on current events and leadership requests
- Help prepare risk reports and dashboards for management committees and risk leaders
- Coordinate with team leadership and other internal stakeholders to collect information for risk reviews, discussions, and reports
- Participate in incident tracking and root cause analysis for operational events
- Maintain accurate records of risk-related documentation, meetings, and decisions
- Learn and apply risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the risk management program
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration or related field
- One (1) to two (2) years of relevant experience
- Ability to perform qualitative and quantitative analysis on datasets and translate findings into insights
- Basic knowledge of risk management concepts and willingness to learn frameworks and procedures
- Strong organizational and communication skills to support reporting, documentation, and stakeholder coordination
- Proficient with MS Office(Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience using AI for analysis and reporting is considered a strong asset
- Previous experience in financial industry is considered an asset
- Bilingualism English and French (Frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa)
