Position: Shipper/ Receiver- Full Time
Wage $19.00 per hour
3 Month Term Contract

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a self motivated Shipper/Receiver for a 3 month term contract. If you are someone who rolls up their sleeves with a "can do" attitude and enjoys working with a great team we encourage you to apply!
What will you do?

Ensure all delivery requirements/logistics for each customer are followed.

Process orders and ensure inventory levels are updated in inventory software.

Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the shipping/receiving and warehouse area, ensuring compliance with. Quality Assurance and Worksafe standards.

Weekly inventory of warehouse supplies.
-
Visually inspect suppliers dropping off or picking up orders, to ensure safety in the shipping/receiving area.

Maintain records and checklists; file paperwork.

Plan and organize pick ups with various carriers based on requested delivery dates.

Occasionally contribute to roasting or packaging efforts depending on production needs.

What we are looking for:

Strong communication skills (written & verbal).

Highly organized and detail-oriented.

Computer literate.
-
Team Player.

Previous experience as Shipper/Receiver in a manufacturing environment is an asset.

Experience with: Google docs, Google sheets. Amazon and Shopify vendor experience is an asset.
Considerations:
-
Required to be on your feet for extended periods of time.
-
Working in a manufacturing environment, noise, and moderate temperature fluctuations of heat and cold.
-
Required to lift and move up to 50 lbs above waist.
-
Reaching, bending, push and pulling equipment and stock.
-
Strong scent of roasted coffee.
Nice to haves:

Forklift and/or electric pallet jack certificate

First Aid Certification
