We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Office Manager to join our team at Moira Place Long-Term Care Home in Tweed, Ontario.

As the Office Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting both the financial and administrative operations of the Home. Reporting to the Administrator, this position is responsible for resident billing and accounts, payroll and benefit support, and a variety of administrative functions that keep our Home running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage resident accounts, billing, and collections in accordance with Ministry of Long-Term Care (MLTC) requirements.
  • Complete monthly resident invoicing and payment posting; maintain trust accounts and prepare related reports.
  • Provide on-site payroll and benefit support, including processing new hire information and verifying time and attendance.
  • Coordinate financial tasks such as coding invoices, preparing deposits, and maintaining petty cash.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential resident and employee records.
  • Provide administrative support to the management team, including correspondence, scheduling, and report preparation.
  • Promote positive customer service when interacting with residents, families, and staff.
  • Participate in tours and assist with special projects or other duties as needed.

About You

You are an organized, approachable professional who enjoys working both independently and as part of a team. You take pride in accuracy and confidentiality, and you value the important role you play in supporting quality care for older adults.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in business administration, accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ relevant office experience, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care environment.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office; knowledge of PointClickCare or similar systems is an asset.
  • Experience with payroll or accounting functions preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
