About the Role
Our organization is collaborating with a leading AI research group to advance frontier linguistics problem-solving in multilingual contexts. We are seeking Linguistics Experts with either International Linguistics Olympiad experience or a PhD in Linguistics to contribute to an innovative AI training initiative.
In this short-term, remote opportunity, you’ll apply your expertise to collect, curate, and structure high-level linguistics problems from diverse global sources. Your work will directly support the development of cutting-edge AI models with enhanced linguistic reasoning and multilingual understanding.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify advanced linguistics problems and resources in multiple languages.
- Curate and organize datasets with structured documentation and metadata.
- Ensure the accuracy, rigor, and appropriate difficulty level of sourced materials.
- Extract reasoning frameworks and linguistic analyses from academic and professional sources.
- Collaborate with project teams to refine quality standards and content organization.
Qualifications / Skills Required
- Strong academic or professional background in Linguistics .
- Experience as a medalist or participant in the International Linguistics Olympiad (preferred) or a PhD in any subfield of Linguistics .
- Proven ability to assess complexity and rigor of linguistics problems.
- Excellent attention to detail and data organization skills.
- Multilingual experience or familiarity with international linguistic resources.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience curating educational or academic materials.
- Familiarity with AI research , language modeling , or computational linguistics .
- Strong written communication and documentation skills.
Work Location
Remote — fully asynchronous; flexible working hours.
Salary Range
$52.50 – $75 per hour (USD) — based on experience and expertise
