About The Role The IT Support Technician will be responsible for providing hardware support to Maple Lodge Farms office and plant staff

What You Will Be Doing
- Configure, install and service plant scale systems (PC, label printer and cabling).
- Configure and install RFID readers for timekeeping system and electronic digital clocks.
- Builds, deploys, desktop/laptop/tablet computers and associated peripherals/IT equipment.
- Deploy and troubleshoot computer peripherals such as printers, scales and scanners.
- Deploy and troubleshoot wired and wireless networks.
- Support and troubleshoot software
- Configure and troubleshoot various mobile devices for plant use (PDA’s, tablets).
- Replace, repair and upgrade various IT components (PCs, Printers, Monitors).
- Other duties as assigned
What You Will Bring
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with electronic troubleshooting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with PC (hardware and software) troubleshooting.
- Analytical, with problem-identification and problem-solving capabilities.
- Post Secondary Diploma in a related field is required
