Our Fleet Parts Coordinator is responsible for coordinating parts procurement, sourcing both internally and externally, processing invoices, and inventory across multiple sites. This role ensures accurate record keeping for work orders, compliance (CVIP), and invoicing across multiple sites. Maintain and audit parts availability and ensure availability of price/catalogues for multiple locations. Led by the Manager of Transportation and Maintenance, this position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, a knack for sourcing parts, and a passion for precise documentation and record management.
Shift available:
Weekdays: Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm
Ready to make an impact? Here’s how:
- Procure required parts, sourcing internally/externally while maintaining cost/time effectiveness, receive and store within prearranged systems, eliminating/integrating stock as required.
- Dispense parts ensuring accuracy of price and part info on work orders, inventory updates and track back orders and core returns, organizing and shipping exchange parts and returns.
- Access online truck and trailer HH/vendor parts systems as well as manufacturers online parts catalogues to manage availability, sourcing, out-sourcing repairs (as necessary), and part updates through online accounts and leveraging Samsara for maintenance data.
- Manage the digital database for multiple sites of work orders, service sheets, invoices, and truck and trailer binders. Maintain inventories as requested across multiple sites.
- Maintain records for multiple sites including shop tools, equipment, retread program, truck and trailer work orders nationally and ensuring elimination of obsolete parts and replacing with current SKUs.
- Work with St. Jacobs/Debert/Wetaskiwin trailer shop and Goods garage to ensure parts inventories are accurate and adequate for truck shop needs.
We’re looking for:
- 1-2 years’ relative experience, a Journeyman Parts Certificate would be an asset.
- Interpret parts catalogues/diagrams to source accurately as required by technicians.
- Knowledge of heavy-duty trucks/highway trailer parts &/or repair is an asset.
- Source parts and determine timely and cost-effective method of securement.
- Interact courteously and effectively with all HH departments/TMs in difficult situations.
- Attention to detail and knowledge of inventory systems.

- The expected starting salary range for this role is $46,700 to $61,300; the final offer will reflect relevant skills and experience.
