Your Role: DevOps / Backend Engineer

We are looking for an engineer who can wear two hats — stabilize and automate our infrastructure first, then shift toward backend feature development with the team. Long term, expect roughly a quarter of your time keeping our infrastructure healthy and the rest building backend features. You will:

Operate and improve our Kubernetes clusters on-premise

Build, harden, and speed up our GitLab CI/CD pipelines (build, test, deploy, and security gates).

Manage cloud infrastructure

Strengthen observability with Grafana, Prometheus, and Elasticsearch (dashboards, alerting, log aggregation). Automate manual operations work: deployments, environment provisioning, and certificate management. Build new features and implement scalable business logic in Golang. Design and optimize REST APIs to interface with our Angular frontend. Keep PostgreSQL reliable and performant - both as an operator (backups, storage) and as a developer (query optimization).

Desired skills & experience

3 years of professional experience spanning backend development and DevOps/SRE Professional experience with Golang and REST APIs Strong hands-on Kubernetes experience (deployments, ingress, storage, troubleshooting); Rancher/RKE2 experience is a plus. Solid experience with CI/CD tooling (GitLab CI preferred) and Docker. Monitoring and logging experience: Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, or similar. Experience working with PostgreSQL and optimizing database queries. Strong reliability mindset: backups, incident response, and root-cause analysis. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Excellent communication skills - English is a must!
