About the role
Role and Facility Information
Peace Arch Hospital is a community hospital in the Fraser Health Authority (FHA) region, 169 acute care beds, ICU/CCU 8 beds, closed unit (Internal Medicine). Level 3 PFT lab. No formal on call responsibilities, provide respiratory consultation to the hospital for in- and outpatients. Bronchoscopy but no EBUS availability at our site. Thoracic surgery at Surrey Memorial Hospital, 5 busy thoracic surgeons. There is also a BC Cancer Agency site, Fraser Valley Cancer Centre, adjacent to Surrey Memorial Hospital. Fee for service for clinical work and PFT’s. Sessional TB clinic work also available at the New Westminster TB clinic, under the auspices of the Division of TB Control, BCCDC. Affiliations, Division of Respiratory Medicine, FHA. Can apply for clinical position with UBC Department of Medicine.
Office space will be available with reasonable rent, mixed complex that is very well maintained. Free the parking for staff and patients, less than 10 minute drive, door to door, to the hospital.
