Commissioning Coordinator Penn-co Construction is a leading construction company currently hiring a Commissioning Coordinator to join our team working at our Steinbach, Manitoba office. The Commissioning Coordinator is responsible for creating a written commissioning plan and maintaining commissioning documentation. They must ensure products are working according to the specifications and meet the client’s needs and improve operational procedures. The Commissioning Coordinator will report to the Commissioning Manager. Penn-co offers an excellent benefits package and competitive salary. - Manage a smooth commissioning of the project by coordinating between the sub-contractors, suppliers, manufactures and operations personal.-Create and implement commissioning plans in accordance with project guidelines.-Prepare and maintain commissioning records of site observations, testing processes, SOP’s, and checklists to present to project stakeholders.-Manage and maintain Commissioning specific documentation.-Recommend improvements and offer advice about operational procedures.-Ensure that equipment meets performance specifications.-Attain customer satisfaction through adhering to owner guidelines with the entire project team.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Electrical experience or relevant technical knowledge is an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to build strong relationships with interested parties is essential.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and firsthand attitude.

About PENN-CO CONSTRUCTION
Established in 1959 by Abram K. Penner and his two sons, Penn-co Construction began as a small farm based logging operation near the village of Blumenort which is approximately thirty miles Southeast of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. In the 1980’s and 90’s, Ernie Penner expanded Penn-co to new locations throughout Canada and the United States including Calgary, Toronto, Minneapolis and Raleigh. Although the head office has always been located in Blumenort, Penn-co has successfully completed projects from Ontario to British Columbia as well as in Minnesota, Nebraska and North Carolina.
