We are seeking experienced Welders/Fabricators to join our morning****shift team. This position requires strong technical ability, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities:
- Build skids/base frames and structural frames of all sizes.
- Perform Fluxcore (FCAW) welding (valid CWB Flat Fluxcore ticket required).
- Fit and weld according to blueprint drawings.
- Use equipment such as grinders, torches, chop saws, drill presses, and hand tools.
- Conduct stainless steel MIG wire welding for heat exchangers.
- Perform aluminum and stainless steel sheet metal welding.
- Participate in all safety meetings and follow company safety protocols.
- Maintain high-quality, consistent welds (primarily in flat position).
Requirements
- Valid CWB Flat Fluxcore ticket (minimum)
- Fitting experience and blueprint reading ability
- GMAW experience (asset)
- Must be registered or willing to register with the Alberta Apprenticeship Board
- Knowledge of raw materials, production, and QC inspection process
- WHMIS and OSSA training (asset)
- Strong judgment, focus, and ability to work in a team environment
