About the Role:
Maximum Mechanical is seeking an experienced Service Plumber to execute repairs, diagnostics and small projects in commercial and multi-family buildings. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a journeyperson certificate, and the ability to perform service, repairs and installation on commercial plumbing and hydronic systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to commercial service calls, diagnosing and resolving plumbing and hydronics issues efficiently and professionally
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and replacements on commercial plumbing and hydronics systems ? including fixtures, pumps, boilers, water heaters, piping, and drainage systems
- Complete small installations such as water and waste lines, backflow devices, fixtures, and equipment hookups
- Ensure all work meets current plumbing codes, safety standards, and company quality expectations
- Communicate clearly with clients, contractors, and office staff to coordinate scheduling and job updates
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent
- Operate and maintain service vehicles, tools, and equipment in clean and safe condition
- Identify potential issues and recommend preventative maintenance or system improvements to clients
- Adhere to all company safety procedures and participate in toolbox talks and training as required
Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of Plumbing systems, installation methods, and maintenance.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical documents, blueprints, and specifications.
- Experience with job scheduling, and quality control.
- Familiarity with local and building codes.
- Valid certifications.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively work as a team and collaborate with other trades.
