Lysander Funds is an independent Investment Fund Manager headquartered in Toronto with regional offices in Montréal and Vancouver. The Business Development Manager, Sales will work closely with the Vice President, Sales to manage a region of existing and prospective investment and mutual fund advisors in Toronto and the eastern GTA. The Business Development Manager will work successfully in a team environment and build effective and collaborative working relationships inside and outside the team while maintaining professionalism and a passion for sales. This role reports to the Vice President, National Accounts.

This full-time position is based in our Toronto office. Expected annual base salary range $65,000-$85,000 and a commission structure that could range $40,000-$90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

Service and sell to an established sales territory of CIRO advisor teams working with the Vice President, Sales. Conduct client meetings by phone, video and in person to develop business relationships with advisors. Support the Vice President, Sales by forming relationships with advisors, planning territory service strategy, and booking meetings. Assist with territory campaigns through pro-active contact and relationship building with prospective advisors. Manage territory database and email marketing through MS Dynamics CRM. Enhance the reputation of Lysander Funds through ethical business practices and a dedication to client service.

Qualifications

Completed or working towards Canadian Securities Course (CSC). IFIC, CIM, FMA, CFA or MBA would be an asset. Previous fund wholesaling experience preferred but not required. Excellent verbal and written communication. Experience conducting outbound sales calls. Comfort with MS office suite and ability to learn new systems. Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to work well in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
