RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Site Superintendent, a Site Coordinator with Highstreet is involved in the overall organization and safety of our construction site. The day-to-day tasks would include, but are not limited to:

Provide first aid on-site – Advanced First Aid certification required.
Support the Site Superintendent and Assistant Site Superintendent with construction and site-related administrative needs.
Track down information to remove roadblocks on site.
Coordinate delivery tracking, issuing PO’s, material procurement, and other project items.
Deliver site orientations to new workers on site.
Conduct accident and injury investigations.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Proficient in Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel). Excel expertise is particularly important.
Humble team player, self-motivated, and efficient.
Superior organizational skills and experience managing processes.
On-site construction experience preferred not required.
Advanced First Aid preferred not required, we are willing to provide this training.
Procore and Blue Beam knowledge/experience considered a plus.
Competency in reading construction drawings preferred not required.

Additional requirements:

Satisfactory criminal and credit check.
Class 5 Drivers License and reliable vehicle required.
Employees are required to have a smartphone and be willing to download certain apps for timekeeping etc.

Compensation Package:

Salary: $33.65-$38.46 per hour, dependent on experience

The posted salary range reflects our target base salary for this role. Most successful candidates are offered salaries near the midpoint of the range, based on their experience and qualifications.

Annual Bonus: Highstreet pays an annual bonus based on company performance. A typical bonus for a Site Coordinator is approximately 14% of annual salary. Determined annually, the bonus could be more or less depending on company performance.

Investment Opportunity: Highstreet encourages all employees to share in our success by offering the opportunity to invest in the projects we build and operate. To encourage employee investment, Highstreet matches employee investment at 50%, up to 20% of annual salary (i.e. for every $1 invested by the employee, Highstreet invests $0.50 on the employee's behalf). The investments are TFSA and RRSP eligible.
