About the role
BCIT’s School of Computing and Academic Studies is seeking a temporary, full-time (1.0 FTE**) faculty member.** We are seeking highly talented, motivated, and qualified professionals ready for the next level and next challenge in their careers to be Instructors at our Burnaby campus. Candidates must have strong communication skills and will be required to assume responsibilities for curriculum development and academic leadership.
We offer full-time and part-time positions.
Duties & Responsibilities

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS**:**

Minimum three years of current and relevant industry experience preferred

Minimum related Master’s degree required, PhD considered an asset

Demonstrated exceptional communication and interpersonal skills required

A passion for teaching Computing and Computer Science

Experience teaching Computing and Computer Science in a post-secondary education environment considered an asset

Salary Range
$65,045 - $113,545 per annum
Additional Salary Information
Salary prorated based on percentage and term of appointment. Salary based on education, experience and placement criteria as outlined in the Collective Agreement.
