Position Summary The End User Sales Representative is responsible for executing the direct-to-end-user sales strategy across British Columbia. This role focuses on building relationships within targeted verticals (healthcare, education, hospitality, etc.), identifying HVAC needs, and delivering tailored product and service solutions to generate demand, increase market share, and grow profitable revenue.
Key Responsibilities Sales Development & Customer Engagement
- Identify, prospect, and engage new end user clients across targeted verticals in B.C.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with facilities managers, asset owners, developers, and institutional buyers.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their HVAC needs and aligning them with product offerings.
- Promote key product lines including environment solutions, controls, air purification systems, and filters.
Strategic Account Management
- Manage a portfolio of direct end-user accounts with a focus on retention, satisfaction, and growth.
- Coordinate with internal support teams and contractors as needed to deliver a complete solution offering.
- Create account plans and sales forecasts aligned with strategic sales targets.
Territory & Vertical Execution
- Implement the end user sales strategy as outlined in the business plan, focusing on key verticals: healthcare, education, data centers, hospitality, industrial, government, and technology.
- Leverage local market intelligence to identify upcoming projects and customer pain points.
- Maintain knowledge of market trends, competitive products, and evolving technologies.
Sales Process & Administration
- Develop and deliver formal proposals, pricing, and presentations in collaboration with engineering and estimating teams.
- Accurately track and manage customer interactions, sales activities, and opportunities in CRM.
- Report regularly on sales performance, pipeline development, and market feedback.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in B2B or solution-based technical sales; HVAC or building systems industry experience is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and controls is an asset.
- Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a wide geographic territory.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and negotiation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within British Columbia.
Preferred Assets
- Technical diploma or university degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience working with healthcare, education, or public infrastructure clients.
- Understanding of HVAC design, mechanical specifications, or project coordination.
