About Albert College

Education
51-200

Founded in 1857, Albert College is Canada's oldest, independent, co-educational, day and boarding school. With over 160 years of experience and excellence in education, Albert College provides an enriched and engaging curriculum from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 12. A ‘home away from home' to students from Canada and over 20 nations, Albert College offers boarding to both male and female students beginning in Grade 7.

What Makes us Unique We believe in a well-rounded education and that students embrace Albert's 5 ‘A's – Academics, Arts, Athletics, Active Citizenship and Adventure. By participating in all five ‘A's, every student is an ‘A' student as part of their post-secondary preparation.

At Albert, students discover strengths and talents they never knew they had. Their experience includes competing in our science Olympics, joining the theatre production, challenging themselves in sports and athletics, participating in international service trips to places like Africa and Tanzania and camping and canoeing on beautiful Lake Ontario. As their experiences broaden, students become more confident in their ability to approach each new challenge.

"Every school strives to provide a challenging and engaging program for its students, but we believe our program is unparalleled. Don't take our word for it, talk to our alumni and our current and past parents. Better yet, come and visit us. You will discover for yourself why students from around the world benefit from all that Albert College has to offer." - Mark Musca, Head of School
