Eventscape is looking for a skilled, dependable and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of three commercial buildings. The successful candidate will take pride in creating clean, welcoming environments for employees and visitors while working independently and managing their time effectively across multiple locations.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is what you'll be doing

Clean common areas, including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, elevators, and washrooms. Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces throughout the buildings. Empty garbage and recycling bins and dispose of waste appropriately. Replenish restroom and kitchen supplies as needed. Monitor the buildings for cleanliness and report maintenance or safety concerns. Perform seasonal duties such as snow and ice removal from entrances and walkways (if applicable). Complete light maintenance tasks, including replacing light bulbs and minor repairs where appropriate. Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stored. Follow health and safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment. Travel between the three assigned buildings according to a scheduled route.

ABOUT YOU

You are dependable, self-motivated, and take pride in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming spaces. You enjoy working independently, manage your time effectively, and are comfortable balancing responsibilities across multiple buildings. You have a keen eye for detail, take initiative to identify and resolve issues, and understand the importance of providing excellent service to tenants and visitors.

You will be successful in this role if you

Have previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or building maintenance work (preferred). Are organized and able to prioritize tasks across multiple locations. Can work independently with minimal supervision. Have strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness. Are reliable, punctual, and take ownership of your work. Communicate professionally with contractors, and team members. Are physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks involving standing, walking, bending, climbing stairs, and repetitive movement. Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred, depending on the location of the buildings). Are familiar with safe handling and use of cleaning products and equipment.
