Location: The position is based at our Mississauga location; internship from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

The Compressor Rotating Structures group is involved in applying broad Mechanical Engineering principles in the structural design, analysis and certification of jet engines rotating components. The team works in a dynamic environment and collaborates with a wide network of specialists. Our responsibilities extend across the lifecycle of the product: from preliminary and detailed design, through validation & verification, certification, and all the way to field engine support.
What will your day-to-day look like?
- Collect test results on low cycle fatigue testing and consolidate them in existing databases
- Perform systematic reviews of our rotor lifing system and produce accurate records to support durability assessments
- Support colleagues in structural assessment of compressor rotors and writing technical reports
- Communicating technical progress and status
What do you need to be successful?
- Be eligible to work in Canada
- Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship
- Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- Understanding of Mechanical Engineering principles
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Organizational, communication and presentation skills
- Autonomous and interpersonal skills
