The Refurb Technician is responsible for assembling and refurbishing and testing of all water conditioning equipment. This role also includes the responsibility of maintaining the specified work areas and the shipping and receiving of products.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Log all serial numbers of coolers to be cleaned and sanitized
• Test and repair coolers as required Disassemble coolers to clean inside, reassemble, and test again for proper working order
• Check for orders coming from branch to prepare coolers for shipment
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and protocols while performing job duties
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and complete regular safety training to stay informed on best practices for using PPE
• Maintain cooler parts inventory; prepare parts list to order
• Keep a list of parts numbers used for repairs to ensure inventory is properly utilized
• Preparing shipment and assist with receiving products
• Fill in for other departments
• Maintaining a clean yard
• Other related duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Completion of Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
• Forklift Experience
• Must be mechanically inclined
• Able and willing to learn
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Basic knowledge of shipping and receiving
• Forklift experience is an asset
