Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly motivated Account Manager responsible for territory sales, margin growth & customer satisfaction for all customers within the assigned geography.
Essential Responsibilities
- Prospect, build, and maintain customer relationships; achieve or exceed sales objectives; serve as technical sales consultant to customers in the assigned territory. Responsible for both territory sales & margin growth.
- Retain and renew current maintenance agreements by improving customer satisfaction via MFA program
- Manage and nurture account relationships to drive renewals and repair opportunity
- Conduct sales planners and needs assessment to inform account targeting efforts, including expansion within existing installed base and renewal efforts
- Assist with customer concern resolution along with Operations, including Service Project Manager and Service Supervisor
- Partner with branch business development sales team to identify business development opportunities.
- Actively communicate competitive feedback and market dynamics internally to help further improve solution set and refine message
- Use Otis’ sales tools to effectively track opportunities, pipeline, and forecast sales results
- Manage opportunities in the CRM pipeline and provide accurate forecasting
Education / Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years sales experience required
- Fully bilingual in both French and English
- Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment
- Candidate must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers
- Needs to be self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities
- Successful candidate should be very comfortable in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft based computer software
- Outstanding sales/negotiation skills and goal-orientated with strong time management and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Elevator industry experience a plus

Responsabilités
- Estimer, négocier et vendre des contrats de service et d'entretien afin d'obtenir de nouveaux appareils sous contrat.
- Gérer le portefeuille des contrats actuels, promouvoir et vendre des forfaits et produits d'entretien d'ascenseurs et/ou des services de modernisation.
- Rechercher les clients éventuels et entretenir de bonnes relations avec la clientèle, atteindre ou dépasser les objectifs de ventes et servir de conseiller technique auprès de la clientèle.
- Développer et accroître le territoire de vente par du démarchage, en faisant appel à votre connaissance des conditions du marché local et des forces dynamiques de la concurrence.
- Maintenir à jour ses connaissances techniques sur les ascenseurs/escaliers mécaniques et les produits et les solutions de modernisation d’Otis.
- Fournir des estimations pour tous les travaux réguliers d’entretien et de réparation; avoir une connaissance générale des contrats d’entretien.
- Veiller au suivi et à la gestion des comptes clients.
Expérience/compétences****minimales
- Posséder au minimum 2 ans d'expérience pertinente en vente.
- Maîtriser parfaitement le français et l’anglais, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit.
- Être apte à travailler dans un environnement dynamique et fortement axé sur le travail d'équipe.
- Faire preuve de solides compétences en communication écrite et verbale afin de développer efficacement les attentes et les relations avec les clients internes et externes.
- Être motivé et capable de gérer plusieurs projets et responsabilités simultanés.
- Être très à l'aise dans un environnement technique utilisant les logiciels informatiques de Microsoft.
- Avoir un talent marqué pour la négociation et les ventes, être axé sur les résultats et posséder d’excellentes aptitudes pour la gestion du temps et l’organisation.
Expérience/compétences****souhaitées
- Avoir de l’expérience dans l’industrie des ascenseurs serait un atout.
