About The Role. We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst - Canada Foodservice, a critical member of our Sales Finance team. The Senior Financial Analyst plays a pivotal role within the North American Sales Finance team, partnering closely with Sales and cross-functional teams to drive profitable growth.
You will bring strong financial and general business acumen, deep analytical skills, and a passion for building relationships. You will work across Finance, Sales, Marketing, and other functions to ensure timely, accurate, and actionable insights that enable smarter decisions and stronger business outcomes, contributing to the overall financial strategy of the Canada Foodservice category.
What You’ll Be Doing.
- Serve as the primary financial partner to Canada Foodservice Sales, especially the field sales team, providing clear insights on customer and product profitability to help retain existing business, win new business and respond quickly to opportunities in partnership with Sales.
- Manage Trade Spend for direct customers, distributors and end-users, ensuring accurate accruals, reporting, and alignment with profitability targets.
- Support demand planning with both top-down targets and bottom-up sales input.
- Analyze customer operations to assess profitability, risks, and growth opportunities.
- Provide ad-hoc financial modeling, reporting, and volume-price-mix analysis for strategic decisions. Present these in a clear, concise and compelling financial storyline to senior leadership (both financial and non-financial stakeholders).
- Work collaboratively across functions (sales, marketing, supply chain) to meet deadlines and deliver impactful results.
What You’ll Need To Be Successful.
- CPA designation or MBA preferred.
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, or Accounting.
- Minimum 3+ years of financial analysis and/or accounting experience; experience in Consumer Packaged Goods or Foodservice is an asset.
- Proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, modeling) and ERP systems; SAP and OneStream experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Power BI or experience in other data analytics platforms considered an asset.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and finance practices, including margin analysis and ROI.
- Customer-obsessed mindset with a willingness to take initiative and actively engage stakeholders.
- Ability to interpret and simplify complex financial data into actionable insights.
- Strong business acumen and ability to tell the story behind the numbers.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, particularly with Sales teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with urgency and accuracy.
- Analytical and problem-solving strength, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Adaptable, flexible, and able to navigate changing business needs.

Compensation Package : $81,600.00
$108,900.00 CAD annually + bonus eligibility The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education/training, and other organizational needs.
