About the role

Role Purpose

The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for the planning and implementation of Vivreau’s digital strategy including website, advertising, and lead generation. In close collaboration with marketing, sales, and finance & operations colleagues, the role will develop effective communication strategies, align on common goals, and develop experiences with a customer-first mindset.

Reporting Relationships

Reporting directly to the SVP, Marketing, this role does not have any direct reports.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

The key responsibilities can be divided into three inter-related categories:

Manage Vivreau’s website, ensuring technical excellence and an optimized user experience

  • Drive an industry-leading site experience for prospects, existing customers, and partners
  • Liaise with supporting agencies (GEO agency, developers) to proactively improve search rankings, conversion rates, and overall site effectiveness
  • Work with GEO agency and Marketing colleagues to optimize content
  • Deliver best-in-class customer experience and prospect conversion at every touchpoint in the buyer journey through personalization, A/B testing and page optimization
  • Keep site up to date with recent and relevant information, showcase Vivreau messaging, support branding initiatives through the website, and manage all updates directly in CMS
  • Embrace emerging opportunities within the digital landscape
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ideate and execute on ways to improve the customer experience
  • Act as the key point of contact for local Digital Marketing and website related questions, including local stakeholder management
  • Conduct competitive analysis to understand strengths, opportunities, and online industry trends
  • Monitor website KPIs and take corrective action as needed

Develop and implement a comprehensive lead generation strategy aligned with overall business objectives

  • Develop strong relationships with Sales to strengthen the sales funnel, boost conversion, and achieve regional objectives
  • Work with sales and marketing colleagues to develop and prioritize target audiences, channels, and lead lists
  • Oversee digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, PPC, and social media advertising to maximize leads and spend efficiency
  • Keep lead generation content fresh, relevant, and on-brand
  • Manage email marketing
  • Develop ecommerce as a channel for new customer acquisition
  • Direct the production of content from internal and 3rd party resources to support the company’s positioning, demand generation and growth goals as supported by available data, trends, and market insights
  • Manage digital advertising budget
  • Measure and report on performance; monitor KPIs and take corrective action as needed

Manage Marketing data and reporting within the CRM

  • Manage marketing data in CRM
  • Leverage the CRM system to track and analyze lead data, identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and refine audiences
  • Serve as a Key User to identify needed improvements to the CRM such as available fields, reporting, hygiene, and other
  • Collaborate with Sales to ensure consistent and aligned use of CRM fields, data interpretation, and process

Other:

What You Bring to The Role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience and professional qualification in marketing of B2B/B2C
  • Experience in the area of digital marketing, planning and implementation of online campaigns, content optimization, SEM/SEO, remarketing, AdWords, content development and creation
  • Experience managing a Shopify site considered an asset
  • Experience in a B2B / D2B setting considered an asset
  • Proficient in CRM software and data management tools
  • Technical ability to use the tools for tracking and analyzing results of digital campaigns
  • Ability to create reports and presentations, turning data into actionable insights
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative while collaborating effectively across teams
  • Excellent project management skills
