Position: Security Supervisor
Site: North York General Hospital Finch
Hours: Continental Rotation (0700-1900/1900-0700)
Pay Rate: $22.29/hr.
Overtime Eligibility: Over time is Averaging Agreement after 88 Hours

Job Description:
- Provides leadership, direction, and ongoing coaching and training.
- Ensures all standing orders and scheduled daily activities are carried out as required for each shift
- Ensures site staff adhere to all Paladin Security and site-specific security policies and procedures
- Plans and implements shift work schedules
- Ensures all Security Guards have received the mandatory training.
- Motivates staff and issues commendations
- Disciplines staff when necessary and ensures proper documentation is passed onto head office
- Performs security audits
- Documents and investigates security incidents and complaints
- Provide proactive and reactive security patrols
- Communicates any concerns/issues with Client Service Manager
Prerequisites:
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Valid First Aid & CPR Level C from a WSIB approved provider
- Proof of double Covid Vaccination
- Immunization Record (measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and TB skin tests 1 and 2)
- Valid G class Driver's License
- Must be willing to complete N95 Mask fit testing during the training
- Vulnerable Sector Check
- At least one year of healthcare security supervisor/team lead experience would be preferred
- Post Secondary education in a law enforcement/security program from a recognized college would be an asset
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)
- Applicants who do not possess these certifications can opt into Paladin's Use of Force (UOF)/Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) certification program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position
Please be aware: The UOF/MOAB certification is not paid as it is a pre-employment requisite; however, Paladin will cover all the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability
