This position involves driving delivery trucks in busy urban environments while providing excellent customer service and ensuring the safe transport of materials to jobsites and clients.<br><strong>Main Responsibilities:</strong><ul><li>Drive a MOFFETT truck for local deliveries.</li><li>Operate a Moffett truck safely and efficiently (training provided if necessary).</li><li>Drive in busy urban streets and tight delivery spaces.</li><li>Load, unload, and transport construction materials to clients.</li><li>Verify invoices, payments, returns, and delivery documents.</li><li>Provide professional and courteous customer service.</li><li>Inspect, clean, and maintain trucks and equipment according to company standards.</li><li>Assist in the warehouse, with order preparation, and department maintenance when required.</li><li>Comply with all transportation, health, and safety regulations.</li></ul><strong>Qualifications and Requirements:</strong><ul><li>Valid Class 3 driver's license is mandatory.</li><li>Class 1 license considered a major asset.</li><li>Proven experience working independently as a delivery truck driver is required.</li><li>Comfortable driving in narrow streets and urban areas.</li><li>Experience with a Moffett truck is considered an asset.</li><li>Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 23 kg (50 lbs).</li><li>Comfortable working outdoors up to 80% of the time.</li><li>French is mandatory; bilingual candidates are preferred.</li></ul><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong><ul><li>Ability to lift and move loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs).</li><li>Frequent loading and unloading of materials.</li><li>Long periods of driving, standing, and outdoor work.</li></ul><strong>Schedule:</strong><ul><li>Day shift: 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM (occasional early departures at 5:30 AM possible)</li><li>Evening shift possible: 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM</li></ul><strong>Salary & Compensation:</strong><ul><li>Up to $38.00 / hour</li><li>Additional premium of $6.00/hour when handling drywall (gypsum).</li></ul><strong>Job Type:</strong><ul><li>Direct Hire (Permanent)</li></ul><strong>How to Apply:</strong><br>Apply and receive offers NOW!
