**Contract:**April 2026 – Monday, September 7, 2026 (Labour Day)
Salary:$18/hr + $2/hr completion bonus (paid at end of contract)

###Role Overview:

Seasonal Preventive Maintenance Technicians are responsible for:

• Daily maintenance of pools & spas in condominiums, hotels, and fitness centres (chemical balance, vacuuming, skimming, pump baskets, mechanical room upkeep)
• Delivering chemicals, supplies, and equipment
• Enforcing Ontario Health Code regulations and community by-laws
• Completing detailed work orders and participating in training courses
• Assisting with pool openings/closings, deliveries, office tasks, and other duties as assigned

A Typical Day:

• Drive company vehicles (car, cube van, pickup truck, or transit van) to 6+ client sites
• Check and maintain pool safety equipment and mechanical rooms
• Test water chemistry, adjust chemical balances
• Communicate with clients and supervisors
• Active, hands-on work – no two days are the same!

###Important Details:

• Must have a valid driver’s license (“G”) and a clean driver’s abstract
• Must have daily access to your own vehicle to get to our main office
• Work involves long hours (up to 12-hour days), but not every day – if you work a long day, you will have the following day off.
• Must work some weekends, statutory holidays, and Labour Day
• Seasonal employees fall under Ministry of Labour exemptions for overtime pay (Special Coverage for Swimming Pool Installation and Maintenance – Standards in Ontario, Version 6.0)
• Must be able to swim, lift up to 50 lbs, and work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions
