POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Garden Valley School Division invites applications for the full-time (1.0 FTE) term position of Early Years Teacher at Plum Coulee School effective September 8, 2026 – June 30, 2027**.**
Garden Valley School Division is a dynamic and thriving educational community located in the heartland of Manitoba's beautiful Pembina Valley Region. With a student population of about 4,300, the division encompasses 14 schools in the communities of Winkler, Plum Coulee, Schanzenfeld, Hochfeld, Blumenfeld, Reinland, and Blumengart.

REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Hold or be eligible to hold a valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate
- Prior experience teaching in an early year's classroom is considered an asset
- Strong experience teaching in a grade 1 or 2 classroom environment is considered an asset
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check & Child Abuse Registry Check

SCHOOL INFORMATION:
Plum Coulee School is a K-8 school with an enrolment of 250 students and approximately 30 combined professional/support staff. Along with a comprehensive intramural program, Plum Coulee School offers a broad range of extra-curricular options that include such things as soccer, volleyball, basketball, dramas, as well as many others. The school is an integral part of the beautiful town of Plum Coulee, located just 13 kms east of Winkler on Hwy 14. Walk its pathways, enjoy the beach, visit the Heritage Square and soak in the warmth of the friendly people and you too will understand the growing attraction of this vibrant community.
