YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will be part of the Maintenance Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

  • Work cross functionally in the implementation of a reliability program, which encompasses systems, processes, procedures, standards, KPIs, analysis and tools that will maximize business value for fixed and mobile assets;

  • Ensure all OEM manuals, SOPs, and preventive maintenance (PM) strategies are complete, accurate, and validated prior to asset handover;

  • Lead development of key readiness deliverables such as documentation, bills of materials (BoMs), critical spares, commissioning plans, and training resources;

  • Build and validate asset registers, maintenance strategies, and task lists for seamless integration into JD Edwards (JDE/CMMS);

  • Coordinate with Maintenance Planning to ensure all fixed and mobile assets are set up in JDE with appropriate maintenance plans and strategies;

  • Provide maintenance and reliability support during commissioning, ramp-up, and early operations phases. Including gate reviews and timely closure of punch-list items;

  • Identify, analyze, and resolve reliability issues, using RCA, Improvement (Analyzing trends, KPIs – MTTR/MTBF, data analysis, bad actor failure analysis and optimization). and best practices to standardize and improve asset uptime across the site;

  • Implement and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to reduce downtime and improve equipment availability and cost performance;

  • Drive continuous improvement, reliability programs, and collaboration across teams to manage risk, enhance asset performance, optimize inventory, and support safe, efficient operations;

  • Develops the Asset Strategy (Identifying asset criticality to the business, setting service strategy based on performance required, and driving maintenance and reliability and cost-effective lifecycle management) using tools like RCM and FMEAs. Strategies cover routine and integrity and are part of baseline strategy review and developed for new assets as part of operational readiness.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical; or Technologist experience in a similar role;

  • The ideal candidate will possess an undergraduate degree in an engineering field. Preference will be given to engineering candidates with Mechanical, Electrical and Instrument backgrounds;

  • Certification as a CMRP, MMP is an asset;

  • Minimum of 4 years experience;

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, communication and teamwork skills;

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills;

  • Takes initiative and can self-direct to accomplish goals with minimum supervision experience;

  • Experience in the use of JD Edwards, SAP;

  • Strong understanding of maintenance planning, scheduling, and work management processes;

  • Experience with setting up maintenance strategies, maintenance plans, equipment reliability programs is an asset;

  • Familiarity with Mobile and Fixed Plant equipment, etc. is required;

  • Good business acumen and intermediate to advanced level knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, PI Vision/Historian and JD Edwards;

  • Experience with Reliability tools (FMEA, Criticality analysis, etc.), developing asset service strategies and managing metrics such as availability, utilization, OEE, MTBF in a mining or industrial environment is an asset.

  • Schedule: 4/3 schedule at our Upper Beaver Mine site, located in Dobie, ON.

$86,000CAD
