About the role

A growing Indigenous-owned hospitality operation in northern British Columbia is seeking a Lodging Manager to oversee day-to-day accommodation operations across two properties, including a hotel and a lodge. You will lead a frontline team of approximately 20–30 employees across housekeeping, front desk, and guest services, ensuring consistent service delivery, strong operational standards, and a welcoming guest experience across both locations. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be equally focused on people, operations, and guest experience. You will play a key role in shaping service culture, building consistency, and developing a high-performing team in a growing, community-driven environment. Working closely with senior hospitality leadership, you will help refine systems, strengthen accountability, and support the continued development of a business that is deeply connected to local economic development and long-term regional impact. Northern British Columbia offers a lifestyle defined by lakes, forests, and year-round outdoor living. It moves at a different pace than urban hospitality markets. Not slower in terms of expectations, but different in rhythm. Operational standards remain high, consistency is essential, and the pace of delivery is steady and real. What changes most is the impact. The work extends beyond the property itself and into the people, the team culture, and the broader community the operation serves.
