As a Business Development Representative/Account Manager, you will play a critical role in driving Vision Talent’s growth by identifying, qualifying, and nurturing new client relationships. You will act as the first point of engagement for prospective clients, helping them understand how our Talent Advisory services support their business goals. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a consultative sales environment, enjoys engaging senior stakeholders, and wants to build a long-term career in professional services. This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days/week in our downtown office (very close to Union Station).

Key Responsibilities Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and inbound lead qualification Schedule and conduct introductory meetings with prospective clients (virtual and in-person) Partner closely with Account Executives and Talent Leaders to convert qualified opportunities into long-term client relationships Serve as the initial point of contact for new prospects, clearly communicating client needs internally Understand prospective clients’ business challenges and hiring initiatives, and articulate how Vision Talent’s services drive measurable outcomes Apply consultative selling techniques with a strong focus on client value, impact, and return on investment Maintain accurate activity tracking, pipeline progression, and forecasting within the CRM

What You Bring: Post-secondary education, preferably in Business, Commerce, or a related field 5+ years of experience in professional sales, business development, recruitment, or consulting A proven ability to support and grow a sales pipeline through relationship-based selling Exposure to technology, professional services, or talent solutions is strongly preferred Experience using consultative sales approaches with senior or executive-level stake holders Strong communication skills and the ability to translate client needs into actionable solutions Comfort working with ATS/CRM systems and adhering to performance metrics
