**Shift:**Monday- Friday; 8:00am-4:30pm

SUMMARY

The EDI Developer is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining EDI systems and solutions to facilitate seamless data exchange. The EDI Developer will ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and security of data transmissions, playing a critical role in optimizing our business processes and enhancing our operational performance.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and maintain EDI maps using various EDI tools as per trading partner specifications. Collaborate with trading partners to understand and develop EDI solutions that align with their needs.
  • Setup and maintain EDI communications with customers (AS2, SFTP, etc.)
  • Work with cross-functionals teams to ensure successful integration of EDI solutions with existing systems.
  • Assist in testing and troubleshooting of EDI transactions in hybrid EDI environment (cloud/physical systems).
  • Provide support to other teams for EDI-related issues.
  • Develop and maintain programs/applications to automate tasks in EDI systems.
  • Executing backups of the EDI system as required.
  • Develop and maintain EDI documentation.
  • Stay up to date with latest trends and technologies in EDI.
  • All other duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • EDI: 3+ years’ experience
  • SQL background: 1+ years’ experience
  • Experience in working with Cleo Integration Cloud, Cleo Integration Cloud Studio would be an asset.
  • IBM iSeries (AS/400) & RPGLE: 1+ years’ experience would be an asset.
  • Great understanding of XML, CSV, Fixed length, and similar data formats/transport languages
  • Proven positive customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Willing to learn new concepts and technologies.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • In-office 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
  • Overtime as required.
  • Rotating on-call requirement.
