About:
As Manager, Operations Quality, you will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and overseeing a comprehensive quality assurance framework within the Operations department. Your role focuses on ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements across all operational teams, including credit applications entry, sales support, documentation preparation and validation, security management, and documentation administration. You will primarily concentrate on the consistent delivery of high-quality operational processes and outputs.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement Quality Framework: Design, implement, and maintain a robust quality assurance framework, including policies, procedures, standards, and metrics specific to credit applications entry, sales support, documentation preparation and validation, security management, and documentation control processes.

Lead and Enhance the Credit Applications Entry Process: Establish rigorous quality checks throughout the credit applications entry process to ensure data quality and accuracy and partner on projects aimed at automating and improving the efficiency of the process.

Establish Quality Standards and Metrics: Define clear quality standards, key performance indicators (KPIs),and benchmarks for each operational teams to measure and track quality performance.

Lead Quality Assurance Activities: Oversee and participate in quality assurance activities, including audits, reviews, and assessments of operational processes and outputs to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance.

Drive Continuous Improvement: Analyze quality data, identify trends and root causes of quality issues, and collaborate with Operations leadership to develop and implement corrective and preventative actions.

Collaborate with Compliance Team to Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of relevant industry regulations and internal policies and ensure that operational processes and documentation adhere to these requirements.

Develop and Deliver Training: Develop and deliver quality-related training programs for Operations staff to enhance their understanding of quality standards and best practices.

Collaborate with Stakeholders: Partner effectively with other departments, including Risk, Compliance, Legal, and IT, to ensure alignment on quality standards and address cross-functional quality issues

Reporting and Communication: Prepare regular reports on quality performance, trends, and improvement initiatives for senior management. Communicate quality-related information effectively across the Operations department

Serve as the authority on the interpretation and application of operational policies and procedures within the Operations department. Ensure all operational teams consistently adhere to established guidelines, and resolve any disputes or ambiguities related to policy compliance.

Empowered to make binding decisions on quality-related matters to uphold regulatory standards, internal controls, and operational integrity.
The profile we are looking for:
- Over 8 years of progressive experience in commercial financing contract management, with a strong focus on operational quality assurance and compliance.
- Minimum of 2 years in management roles, leading cross-functional teams and overseeing quality assurance initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing quality assurance frameworks, including policies, procedures, standards, and performance metrics.
- Proven ability to lead audits, reviews, and assessments to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience preparing reports and presenting quality performance insights to senior leadership.
- Recognized for initiative, proactivity, and the ability to work both collaboratively across departments (e.g., Risk, Compliance, Legal, IT) and independently.
- Skilled in prioritizing tasks, managing multiple projects, and driving continuous improvement through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Known for sound judgment and decision-making, particularly in interpreting and applying operational policies and procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with a track record of building strong relationships and fostering a culture of quality.
- Experienced in training and developing team members, enhancing their understanding of quality standards and best practices.
- You are fluent in French and English, both oral and written, in order to serve our clients across Canada.
