The Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation (RAHF) is seeking a relationship-driven, strategic, and results-oriented fundraising professional to join our team as Corporate Partnerships Officer. Reporting to the Director, Corporate and Foundation Relations, the Corporate Partnerships Officer is responsible for developing, securing, and managing revenue-generating relationships with corporate partners, local businesses, and institutional funders to advance the Foundation's strategic priorities. This role focuses on generating philanthropic revenue through sponsorships, donations, corporate partnerships, and foundation grants while delivering exceptional partner stewardship and sponsorship experiences that foster long-term engagement and growth. Key Accountabilities
Revenue Development & Relationship Management Identify, cultivate, solicit, secure, and steward corporate partners, local businesses, and institutional funders to generate sponsorship and philanthropic revenue. Manage a portfolio of corporate and foundation prospects and donors, with accountability for revenue growth, partner retention, and relationship progression. Develop strong relationships with corporate sponsors, foundation representatives, and community business leaders. Create customized partnership opportunities, including sponsorships, employee engagement initiatives, cause marketing campaigns, and strategic philanthropic investments. Prepare compelling proposals, sponsorship packages, presentations, funding requests, and partnership agreements. Develop stewardship plans and impact reports that demonstrate the value of partner investments and support renewals and increased giving. Support the development and execution of annual corporate and foundation fundraising strategies and revenue plans. Identify emerging partnership opportunities, market trends, and new prospects to diversify and grow revenue.
Sponsorship Fulfillment & Partner Experience
Lead the end-to-end execution of sponsorship fulfillment, ensuring all contractual benefits are delivered accurately, on time, and to a high standard. Coordinate sponsor recognition, branding opportunities, event benefits, and experiential activations in collaboration with internal teams. Monitor sponsorship commitments to ensure deliverables are fulfilled consistently and professionally. Partner with Marketing, Communications, Events, and program teams to execute partnership opportunities and recognition activities. Develop impact and recognition materials that strengthen partner relationships and demonstrate the value of their support. Identify opportunities to enhance sponsor engagement, activation, retention, and overall partner experience.
Database Management & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of donor interactions, sponsorship commitments, revenue, and pipeline activity within the Foundation's CRM system. Monitor progress toward fundraising goals and contribute to revenue forecasting and performance reporting. Ensure sponsorship agreements and fulfillment documentation are accurate, complete, and well maintained. Prepare reports on partnership performance, engagement metrics, and fundraising outcomes to support strategic decision-making.
Performance & Success Indicators
Success in this role looks like: Corporate sponsorship, partnership, and foundation fundraising revenue meets or exceeds established goals. Strong, long-term relationships are built and maintained with corporate partners, local businesses, and institutional funders. Sponsorship commitments are fulfilled accurately, professionally, and on schedule. Partners receive exceptional stewardship, resulting in high satisfaction, retention, and increased engagement. New partnership opportunities are identified and successfully converted into philanthropic support. Fundraising activities, sponsorship deliverables, and donor information are accurately maintained within the CRM system. Multiple priorities and deadlines are managed effectively while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. Collaborative relationships are built across departments to deliver seamless partner experiences. Opportunities for continuous improvement are identified and implemented to strengthen fundraising effectiveness and partner engagement.
Required Knowledge, Experience & Competencies
Degree or diploma in Business, Communications, Marketing, Fundraising, or a related field. Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in corporate fundraising, sponsorship, business development, or a related field. Demonstrated success securing sponsorships, donations, grants, or partnership revenue. Exceptional relationship-building, networking, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to identify, cultivate, solicit, secure, and steward corporate partnerships and philanthropic investments. Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and proposal development skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across teams and build strong internal partnerships. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/database management systems.
Assets
Experience managing sponsorship fulfillment, partner activations, or corporate client service relationships. Experience working within the nonprofit, healthcare, or community sector. Experience with donor databases or fundraising CRM platforms. Knowledge of corporate philanthropy, sponsorship strategy, or foundation grant fundraising.
