Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible, committed custodianto join the ‘Na̱mg̱is Wellness Centre team. The custodian’s role is to maintain and preserve both the interior and exterior of our facilities, and to ensure that our clients and staff have a clean and tidy environment for the important work they are undertaking. The condition and appearance of a building reflects upon its occupants, and our building is a place of healing, so it is important for our custodian to be mindful and thorough in maintaining the cleanliness of the premises.
Responsibilities
- Maintain interiors and ensure that they are ready for the start of each day:
- Maintain outer premises
- Secure facilities after operating hours
- Document and report major issues
Requirements
- Prior experience in facilities management role, such as custodian or janitor
- Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances
- Knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components
- Attention to detail and general conscientiousness
- Very good physical condition and strength
- Support for and commitment to a healthy lifestyle
Salary: $35,362-$40,844
