Job Overview This role is responsible for event and advertising sales targets to support the cost of canfitpro live and online events and services. This role focuses on the acquisition and retention of business accounts engaged in business to brand awareness, lead generation, and sales. In this role, travel and variable working hours are expected.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops a daily acquisition and account management plan to achieve sales targets for the purposes of organization event success and advertising.
  • Monitors the weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets.
  • Plans daily sales activity including prospecting, qualifying leads, and monitoring open opportunities to maintain health pipeline.
  • Schedules meetings, sends emails, and conducts phone calls to customers daily to build rapport and develop new opportunities.
  • Attends external events for industry knowledge and for prospecting.
  • Conducts company research to prepare for outbound call or outreach campaigns such as on LinkedIn, Google, Facebook, etc.
  • Deliver account updates and insights to management and internal customers to leverage the business relationship and ensure quality handling and service.
  • Practices good account management and sales tracking to support the overall quality of service and reporting for the team and the organization.
  • Updates account records and contact records in the CRM accurately and thoroughly including contacts, connections, opportunities, sale activity.
  • Inputs sales activity and sales deals into the appropriate sales logs and trackers to support the verification and reporting practices of the team.
  • Participates in creative collaboration for sales materials and marketing campaigns including product changes and research support.
  • Attends bi-weekly team creative time meetings bringing ideas and strategy to achieve sales targets
  • Offers research support for pricing changes, competitor price comparison and feedback from the customers
  • Supports the fulfillment of account deliverables including invoicing and fulfillment:
  • Helps with invoicing escalations as needed by the Accounts Receivables administrator
  • Works with internal teams to support the delivery of services and reporting when applicable

Communication/Business Relationships Internal (within the Organization) Contacts: Accounts Receivables, Event Experience, and Marketing & Communications Team

Purpose of Communication:

  • Accounts Receivables: to support correct billing and payments receipts;
  • Event Experience: to ensure event related sales are fulfilled according to contract
  • Marketing & Communications: to ensure paid advertising is properly deployed and performance data is delivered to customers

External (outside the Organization) Contacts: Vendors, Customers, Strategic Partners

Purpose of Communication: To secure a purchase of an event or advertising sale

Education Minimum Required: N/A

Preferred: Post-secondary education preferred

Work Experience Minimum Required: 3–5 years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or a related role

Preferred: 5+ Years of relevant experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Minimum Required:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time-management and organization skills
  • Able to manage multiple projects
  • Computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Working Conditions

  • Hybrid Working Environment with 2-3 days in office

Compensation: It is expected that the selected candidate will start at a base salary of $37,000. This position is eligible for commissions in addition to the base salary. The annual range of expected compensation for the position is $37,000 - $56,000 determined by performance, time in the position and variable compensation earned.
