We are a group of two family physicians and a Nurse practitioner with two MOAs and a part-time billing clerk. We are located in downtown Campbell River, walking distance to the waterfront, many restaurants and cafes. We work in a new building with large exam rooms and a shared back office. We regularly support learners and the clinic is accustomed to working with new grads. This is a great place for new-to-practice physicians to get started!
Clinic hours are flexible but typically vary from 20-30/week with a mix of in- person and telehealth appointments. Option for telehealth to be undertaken from home if preferred. Scheduling can be suited to locums' preference as long as minimum manning of the office is met. In-patient coverage is required, weekend on-call participation would be appreciated (roughly 1 in 5 weekends). Option for participation in the local maternity clinic and call-roster if desired.
Benefits
May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including:
- Recruitment Incentive: $10,000 (full-time)
- Relocation Costs Reimbursement: up to $15,000 (amount based on location relocating from)
- Fee Premium: 6.09%
- Annual Flat Fee: $9,437.76
- Rural CME: starting at $2,200.00/annum in year 3 & 4 to a maximum of $4,400.00/annum after 4 years.
