Inter-Mtn. Enterprises Inc. is a growing Kelowna company serving the North American outdoor recreation industry. We manufacture and distribute specialty products to customers throughout North America and are looking for a dependable, organized, and hands-on team member to join our operations team.
This role combines shipping and receiving, freight coordination, inventory control, forklift operation, and production support. We are looking for someone who takes pride in accuracy, organization, and getting the job done right.
This is a full-time permanent position. Our busiest season runs from September through January, while increased scheduling flexibility may be available during portions of the slower season.
Responsibilities
Shipping & Logistics Pick products and materials according to work orders and shipping requirements Package, palletize, wrap, and prepare orders for shipping Coordinate courier, LTL, and trucking shipments throughout North America Create shipping labels, bills of lading, customs paperwork, and freight documentation Schedule carrier pickups and deliveries Track shipments and assist in resolving shipping discrepancies, delays, damages, or lost freight Obtain freight quotes and assist with carrier selection when required Ensure all outgoing orders are complete, accurate, and properly documented in our CRM program
Receiving & Inventory Receive incoming materials, products, and stock, verify products against packing slips and purchase orders Inspect incoming shipments for damage, shortages, or discrepancies Organize and stock materials in designated warehouse locations Assist with cycle counts, annual inventory counts, and inventory accuracy Maintain organized warehouse, storage, and inventory areas. Pull materials and supplies for production jobs
Warehouse & Production Support Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts and pallet jacks Maintain shipping supplies and packaging inventory Help maintain an organized and efficient work environment Assist with vinyl application, cutting, assembly, finishing, and other shop activities Help ensure jobs are completed accurately and ready for shipment Support manufacturing and sign production activities as required
Qualifications Experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, or a related role Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable with computers, paperwork, and data entry Forklift experience is an asset Experience with shipping documentation and freight coordination is an asset Experience with hand tools, manufacturing, sign production, or assembly work is an asset Ability to lift and move heavy packages throughout the day Valid driver's licence Positive attitude and strong work ethic
