Role & Impact
We’re hiring a Mobile App Developer to lead development of our camera‑first inspection app. You’ll build a fast, reliable capture experience for real‑time quality checks, and make the app offline‑first with durable background sync. Your work will be in the hands of high‑volume enterprise users and will directly move our automation rate and customer growth.
What You’ll Work On
- Build a mobile app with camera‑centric features with a smooth, low‑latency preview and responsive capture controls.
- Integrate on‑device ML to provide real‑time guidance and quality checks, with a clean fallback to server APIs when appropriate.
- Design offline‑first flows: durable local persistence for media/metadata and resumable background uploads, with safe recovery after app restarts.
- Instrument and harden the app: performance metrics (latency/FPS/thermals), crash reporting, and automated tests on real devices.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Design, Backend, and ML to ship fast behind feature flags, iterate via TestFlight, and prepare for App Store release.
Professional Qualifications
- 3+ years building production mobile apps in Swift, shipped via TestFlight/App Store (iOS 15+ or later). Familiarity with AVFoundation, managing camera apps with offline persistence and graceful behavior on poor networks. Familiarity with Rust is a plus.

They will receive the message and open the PAVE Camera, allowing them to take pictures following the PAVE INSPECT process that takes less than 3 minutes to complete. The moment they are finished your dealership will receive a complete overview of the trade-in.
In three easy steps, you receive all the information you need to determine and confirm the vehicle's quality.
Step one; Enter the customer's phone number to send a PAVE link via text message to the vehicle owner.
Step two; with no app to download or photos to upload, the vehicle owner gets guided to take pictures of their vehicle simply by clicking the link. As the images are getting captured, they are checked for quality, guaranteeing a full 360 unobstructed view of the vehicle.
Step three; you will get notified by text message the moment the capture is complete and will receive a comprehensive condition report. The customer didn't need to input anything, the information was generated by PAVE.
Within this report, you will get 13 vehicle images that PAVE has directed the owner to take. Along with the vehicle VIN, Year, Make, Model, Trim, Odometer, transition, colors and more.
PAVE will detect any vehicle defects, providing an annotated look at where the damage is with a cropped photo of the highlighted issue and an instant overall grading on every car.
It is all-possible through the hassle-free text link you sent to the customer. It will forever change how you take trade-ins forever.
