Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to strengthen product quality, improve process capability, and enhance customer satisfaction across multiple programs. This role partners closely with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, and customers to resolve complex quality issues and drive sustainable improvements.
This role offers the opportunity to grow into Quality Leadership, Supervisory, or Management positions as the organization continues to expand.
Key Responsibilities Lead quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal requirements Develop and maintain quality control plans, inspection criteria, and process documentation Support New Product Introduction (NPI): FAI, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities Lead structured problem-solving (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, FMEA) Partner cross-functionally to improve process capability and product quality Support internal, customer, and third-party audits (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, IPC/WHMA-A-620) Act as key contact for customer quality issues, ensuring timely resolution and communication Drive Lean and Six Sigma initiatives focused on waste reduction and defect prevention Perform SPC, MSA, and process capability studies Collaborate with suppliers to improve quality performance Prepare and present quality metrics, KPIs, and improvement reports Support validation, qualification, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and equipment
What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field 3+ years of Quality Engineering experience in manufacturing (wire harness, cable assembly, electronics preferred) Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, IPC/WHMA-A-620 Experience with PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and root cause analysis Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma knowledge Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Compensation Salary range for this role is $88,000 – $98,000 CAD annually. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, technical expertise, and alignment with role requirements.
