JOB DESCRIPTION
AAA Canada is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager – Product Sustaining to bring expertise and strengthen our team. As a manager, you ensure the compliance and quality of products in production. You manage non-conformities and complaints, support change processes (ECO), and contribute to continuous improvement to guarantee safety, reliability, performance, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Ensure ongoing product compliance with applicable standards, certifications, and regulations.
- Monitor quality indicators (RMA, customer returns, production efficiency) and perform trend analyses.
- Lead risk management activities (ISO 14971) and keep documentation up to date.
- Support change requests (ECO): review plans/tests, validate compliance, and update control plans.
- Manage complaints in collaboration with relevant teams and lead the resolution of major cases.
- Support the management of production non-conformities (root cause analysis, CAPA) and ensure subassembly compliance.
- Conduct production line audits and contribute to internal and external audits.
Skills and Qualifications
- University degree in Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance within a regulated environment.
- Licensed engineer with the OIQ or CPI.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team and manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Bilingual in French and English.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Knowledge of regulations: ISO 13485:2016, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, MDR 2017/745.
- Experience in product certification in the medical field or other regulated industries.
- Bilingualism (French – English), written and spoken, is a key asset for communication in the client’s multilingual environment and for technical documentation.
