Territory Manager - Construction Sector

Your Mission
We’re looking for a hunter-minded Territory Manager to expand our presence in the construction sector. If you love opening doors, closing deals, and building long-term partnerships with contractors and decision-makers, this is your shot to own your territory and make a serious impact.
Reporting to the Sales Director, you'll play a critical role in growing Manulift’s presence in the construction industry. You'll have full freedom to develop your market and go after opportunities with no limits.
Your Impact
- Direct sales with general contractors, subcontractors, project managers and developers.
- Proactively develop your territory – with the goal of owning the majority market share.
- Identify active and upcoming projects, build relationships with key decision-makers.
- Daily hunting mindset – prospecting, cold calling, jobsite visits.
- Understand customer challenges and offer solution-based equipment proposals.
- Provide excellent follow-up and build lasting client relationships through a consultative approach.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments to remove obstacles and close deals.
- Maintain and update your CRM to track leads, pipeline, and performance.
Your Profile
- Proven business development experience – you know how to find, approach, and close prospects.
- Minimum 3 years of territory sales experience, ideally in heavy equipment, construction services, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of how construction companies operate, including timelines, budget pressures, and project demands.
- Clear track record of exceeding targets – you’re results-driven and relentless.
- Independent, self-motivated, resilient, and solution-focused.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Valid driver’s license – this is a boots-on-the-ground role.
