The normal work schedule is 11 hours per day on a 4-week paid rotation, consisting of 2 working weeks (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 2 paid weeks off.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Inuit Program Coordinator, the Inuit Employment & Training Officeris responsible for liaising between Inuit employees, the company, and Inuit organizations, as well as facilitating the integration of Inuit workers within Canadian Royalties. The responsibilities are as follows:
- Facilitate Ensure the success of recruitment and training programs for Inuit Beneficiaries, while contributing to the development of Northern communities.
- Support the human resources department in labor relations involving Inuit employees and help resolve any issues that may arise within a multicultural workforce.
- Provide advice and support to the company on matters related to the implementation of the IBA, Inuit employee work, and intercultural relations.
- Organize and deliver certain training sessions for both Inuit and non-Inuit employees.
- Handle various administrative tasks related to the recruitment, training, and labor relations of Inuit employees.
- Manage Inuit communications on FM radio, in written media, and within local communities.
- Show initiative and creativity in new situations, with the ability to manage daily tasks without bias towards kinship or friendships.
- Perform any other related tasks requested by the supervisor.
The profile sought
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working in an administrative role.
- Good knowledge of Nunavik communities, their residents, and Inuit culture.
- Familiarity with Nunavik administrative organizations and government organizations.
- Computer skills (MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Excellent skills in developing and maintaining good interpersonal relationships.
Assets and Skills
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing in at least two of the following languages: Inuktitut, English, or French (trilingualism will be considered an asset).
- Experience in human resources.
- Good listening and leadership skills.
- Ability to work with a diverse and multicultural team.
- Autonomy, dynamism, positivity, respect, and teamwork spirit.
- Ability to work under pressure.
