You Are:
An experienced Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) Developer to join our digital experience team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, developing, and implementing personalized customer journeys using AJO and Adobe Experience Platform (AEP). This role requires a mix of technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and collaboration with business and marketing teams to deliver impactful customer experiences.
The Work**:**

Design, configure, and develop customer journeys, campaigns, and decisioning logic within Adobe Journey Optimizer.

Collaborate with marketing, business, and technical teams to translate requirements into personalized cross-channel experiences (Email, Push, In-App, SMS, etc.).

Integrate AJO with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), including Real-Time CDP, Decisioning, and Offer Management.

Implement and optimize audience segmentation, triggers, and event-based journeys using AJO and AEP data.

Develop and maintain personalization logic using JSON, Jinja, and AEP schema.

Work with APIs, SDKs, and connectors for data ingestion and outbound activation.

Ensure campaigns comply with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, CASL, etc.) and organizational data governance policies.

Collaborate with QA and testing teams to validate journey performance and troubleshoot issues.

Monitor, analyze, and optimize journey performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Here’s What You’ll Need**:**
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) and Adobe Experience Platform (AEP).
- Strong understanding of customer data platforms (CDPs), event-based triggers, and identity resolution.
- Experience with personalization scripting (e.g., Jinja, JSON, JavaScript/AMPscript knowledge is a plus).
- Familiarity with email/SMS/push campaign execution and best practices.
- Knowledge of data modeling, XDM schemas, and segment definitions in AEP.
- Understanding of APIs, data flows, and integrations with external systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot campaign and journey performance issues.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Adobe’s SDKs and Data Collection technologies.
- A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required for this position
Bonus points if:
- Adobe Certified Expert – Adobe Journey Optimizer or Adobe Experience Platform certification.
- Familiarity with marketing automation best practices and customer journey orchestration.
