This Role In Summary Whirlpool is currently seeking a qualified candidate for the role for SAP Systems Analyst, (Analyst, Information Systems) . This role will be located onsite at our facility in Canada.
The Business System Analyst will report to the Systems Team Manager and will work with a number of internal and external process partners to develop and support system solutions and processes either directly in SAP or for integrations with SAP. Some tasks include document application specifications, definitions, configurations, testing and setup requirements for various implementations with external trade partners or internal integrations. The incumbent will provide guidance and technical expertise to these process partners to assure the implementation of the most efficient value-added methodology.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Lead project task areas in the execution of technology processes
- Create process/technical specs to be used by internal and 3rd party IT partners to develop the proper applications
- Oversee and monitor development of technical solutions with process partners to ensure conformity and functional adherence to specifications
- Create and oversee Whirlpool testing scripts for processes
- Develop training documents and processes as required for both internal and external functions
- Coordinate and lead Trade Customer meetings to determine best solutions
- Work with other technology processes and technologies to support Trade Partner Services (TPS)
- Handle SAP system support for order-to-cash issues, root cause analysis, system updates, as well as handling ad hoc questions on SAP functionality
- Lead EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) initiatives for trade partner implementations, changes and day-to-day production support. Oversee system activities for all e-commerce interfaces with SAP
- Support transportation team by maintaining SAP system tables, analysis and performing troubleshooting on issues. Provide system support to other functional areas outside of supply chain such as with Whirlpool's 3PLs, sales, and credit departments
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2+ years of experience in SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) module
Preferred Skills And Experiences
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Technology
- Knowledge of EDI standards including experience in coordinating implementation and enhancement initiatives
- Knowledge of order to cash processes / sales and distribution
- Experience in Advanced Excel / spreadsheet skills
- Experience leading system implementations, process improvements, or project management
- Demonstrated experience supporting the development, implementation and maintenance of large scale, integrated business systems.
- Experience preparing and executing test scripts
- Communication, facilitation and collaboration skills
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Organizational skills with attention to detail
