The purpose of Alumnae Relations at Crofton House School is to help alumnae engage with one another and the School in ways that align with their expertise and interests as well as with the School’s values and commitments. Alumnae Relations also helps educate students about the role of alumnae and helps prepare them to join this community after they graduate.

The Coordinator, Alumnae Relations reports to and serves as a key partner to the Alumnae Relations Manager and is an important member of the Advancement Department. The successful candidate will support the Alumnae Relations program by helping to plan and execute events, assist the Alumnae Manager in supporting the CHS Alumnae Association, manage alumnae social media channels, and collaborate with School faculty and staff to foster student-alumnae connections.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for the Manager of Alumnae Relations
  • Help facilitate collaboration with the Senior School students, such as Career Conference, Capstone, University Ambassadors, and Speaker Series
  • Provide administrative support for Crofton Connect, the digital platform connecting students, alumnae, and the School
  • Manage social media platforms for the alumnae audience
  • Coordinate alumnae events at the School and off-site
  • Support the CHS Alumnae Association, including distributing minutes and communicating about social media posts and event logistics
  • Contribute to developing alumnae stories for School publications like the alumnae newsletter
  • Cultivate positive working relationships with colleagues across the School to strengthen cross-departmental events and initiatives
  • Assist with other Advancement Department tasks as needed

Qualifications, Knowledge, Experience:

  • Strong organization and project management skills
  • Superb attention to detail
  • Ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders in a professional manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Adept at using social media in a professional setting
  • Proficiency in Canva, Google Workspace an asset
  • Capable of exercising discretion and tact when dealing with confidential information and sensitive situations
  • Exhibits a growth mindset
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends to assist with School events
  • Experience using Raiser’s Edge or related CRM platforms is an asset
  • Familiarity with an independent school environment is an asset
  • 3+ years of relevant administrative experience

Employment and Application Details:

This role is scheduled to start immediately.

Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 depending on experience and education level.
