  • Acting as a subject matter expert for storage services, including cloud-based environments (Azure, AWS)
  • Reviewing and validating infrastructure and architecture designs for scalability, performance, resiliency, and cost efficiency
  • Identifying risks, gaps, and optimization opportunities within the storage and data environment
  • Developing and maintaining system documentation, including disaster recovery processes
  • Managing vendor relationships to ensure service levels are met for outsourced data protection services
  • Ensuring systems remain compliant with lifecycle standards (e.g., N-1 strategy) and best practices
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support enterprise applications and IT initiatives
  • Providing guidance and technical leadership across the team and broader organization
  • Participating in on-call rotation and providing after-hours support as required

What we are looking for…

  • College diploma or university degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • Minimum 8 years of IT infrastructure experience, including hands-on storage administration
  • Strong experience with enterprise storage platforms (e.g., NetApp cluster mode)
  • Proven experience supporting hybrid environments (on-premise plus cloud: Azure and AWS)
  • Solid understanding of storage networking protocols (e.g., NFS, Fibre Channel, iSCSI, FCoE)
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, VMware, UNIX, and Active Directory environments
  • Experience with storage monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning
  • Knowledge of storage architecture, design principles, and data management strategies
  • Experience with backup and recovery technologies.
  • Exposure to disaster recovery and replication solutions (e.g., Zerto or similar)
  • Ability to analyze complex technical problems and provide effective solutions
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence and guide stakeholders
