The Corporate Services and Policy Division is seeking a results-oriented, visionary leader for the role of Director, Budget and Reporting.

Reporting to the Assistant Deputy Minister, the successful candidate will:

• Provide leadership for developing and evaluating the ministry’s annual operating budget and capital plan ensuring they directly support and are aligned to the ministry’s strategic plan;
• Support the ministry’s executive team to provide excellent fiscal management through preparation of comprehensive monthly forecasts and timely identification of risks and opportunities;
• Provide management oversight for the preparation of accurate and complete financial reporting that includes consolidation schedules and third-party fund financial statements; and
• Develop and communicate policies and procedures to ensure effective internal controls exist to safeguard public resources.
