Accountabilities

• Lead engineering teams responsible for Edge Traffic Infrastructure, ensuring networking architecture remains resilient.
• Define and deliver a vision, strategy, and roadmap for system ingress and egress points, tying it to business impact.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and engineering teams to build robust networking solutions.
• Improve metrics for availability, performance, and resiliency of services.
• Take ownership of team operations and availability through monitoring and support practices.
• Foster a culture of quality and ownership by setting standards for code review and design.
• Develop team talent through feedback and guidance.

Requirements

• 7+ years of engineering experience with 2+ years in a leadership role focused on infrastructure or networking.
• Proven track record in delivering successful projects and managing stakeholders.
• Expertise in managing large-scale, distributed cloud infrastructure systems.
• Experience in scaling networking infrastructure such as CDNs and API Gateways.
• Familiarity with cloud providers like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt in ambiguous situations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
