ABOUT THE ROLE

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Coordinator to join our team!

The Warehouse Coordinator supports the Warehouse Manager in coordinating warehousing operations across the entire Gas fleet, with a focus on promoting consistency in policies and procedures at all Gas warehouse sites. This position plays a key part in driving the adoption of policies and procedures at all Gas warehouse sites and in streamlining future projects. It will involve coordinating and working closely with warehouse personnel across the Gas fleet on specific initiatives.

This is a full-time, safety-sensitive position based out of our Highvale Mine (SunHills) site, located approximately 70 km west of Edmonton near Lake Wabamun.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Provide relief coverage for the Warehouse Manager, MRP Controller, month-end responsibilities, and warehouse personnel as needed
  • Assist with cycle count posting, review, and analysis
  • Investigate and pursue opportunities for vendor returns
  • Support analysis of overstock reports and identify potential actions
  • Evaluate opportunities for material transfers between plants within the Gas fleet
  • Collaborate with VMI providers to optimize inventory services
  • Assist in collecting data for environmental reporting
  • Investigate invoicing issues related to goods receipt
  • Monitor and analyze inventory movement to optimize stock levels (min/max), coordinate with procurement to replenish inventory, and ensure material availability
  • Support ongoing scrap and sales projects
  • Analyze production schedules, historical data, and market trends to forecast future material requirements
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Finance teams to resolve material-related issues and support strategic decision-making
  • Coordinate with Operations and Maintenance to track parts usage and reordering needs

ABOUT YOU

  • Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in warehousing operations
  • Proficient in core office programs (e.g., Microsoft Office), ERP systems, and able to learn position-specific applications
  • Certified Parts Technician designation is considered an asset
  • Strong ability to interpret complex data and identify actionable insights
  • Knowledge of supply chain and inventory management software
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating logistics
  • Effective communication skills for working with suppliers and internal teams
